40th AGM & 22nd AYF Information & Kits

Celebrating 40 years of Excellence Winnipeg, Manitoba July 24-29th 2011

This July, the NAFC will celebrate forty years of excellence as Canada’s largest urban Aboriginal service delivery infrastructure. Friendship Centres and Provincial/Territorial Association delegates from across the country will come together at the Fairmont Hotel, Winnipeg, Manitoba July 26-29th for the 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM). This year’s AGM will be hosted by the Indian & Métis Friendship Centre of Winnipeg (IMFC).

The IMFC and their local AGM Planning Committee is excited to host the 40th Annual General Meeting and are planning an unforgettable week for the delegates to enjoy their visit to Winnipeg.

As a tradition, the 22nd Annual National Youth Forum will be held prior to commencement of the NAFC’s 40th Annual General Meeting on July 24-26, 2011 at the Fairmont Winnipeg.

The NAFC has a Call for Letters of Intent to host future AGMs for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. If your Friendship Centre and/or Provincial/Territorial Association is interested in hosting an NAFC AGM, please contact Mel Maracle at the NAFC national office 1 877-563-4844 or melmaracle@nafc.ca.
